Chargers kick off 2018 training camp with high expectations

Hundreds of Charger fans lined up Saturday morning outside the Jack Hammett Sports Complex to watch training camp kick off, and weren’t disappointed. Bolts legend LaDainian Tomlinson addressed the crowd as players took the field for the first time in 2018.

Quarterback Philip Rivers, entering his 15th season, will try to lead the NFL’s number one passing offense back to the playoffs for the first time since 2013. “As we go into this year, everybody’s excited,” he said. “I believe we have a chance to have a special team.”
